My family got their first computer when I was five, which was a Windows 3.1 machine. From the point that I learned that '.exe' was a program file I just wanted to learn more, so over the years I have taught myself pretty much everything I know (with help from my best friend Jonny). A couple of years ago I got round to building my own computer, and for the past two years I have been slowly adding new components to it. I knew since I was young that computers would be my main choice for my future career. This has to be the main reason that I picked the Web Development course at the University of the West of Scotland.

The Mighty Boosh

Like everyone else when I first watched The Mighty Boosh I thought "what the hell is this?" it seemed at first like another weird program on tv like "The Leauge of Gentlemen". Then I started to watch Noel Fielding (one of the main writers and actors in the show) on his own on tv shows like "Never Mind The Buzzcocks". This way I got into his own sense of humor, which I see as childish and random humor. Getting into Noel's way of thinking helped me understand The Mighty Boosh a little bit more and then eventually I pretty much found my self laughing out lou while watching the show. The way I would describe The Mighty Boosh's humor to anyone would be like meeting someone for the first time and finding them weird but after a while when you have been around them long enough you start to understand them and even start to find them funny.
